My parents came up today...and my dad and Kal actually sat and had a meaningful, non-fighting conversation alone together!

I have just this to say to Kal...Rockapella is not 'immature'!

My shoulder is killing me. Kal found a 'huge knot' as he described it, about midway down my shoulderblade, but even with a lot of work he hasn't been able to get it to go down, and the pain is constant now.

I have hiccups. I wonder how long this will take.

I went outside to watch the eclipse...and then when I came back inside to post about it I saw an online ad for 'Tony Stewarts Armpits' or something like that.
Interesting.

I know it's a bit early, but I can't seem to think of any good Halloween costumes...

If anyone in the Oklahoma or surrounding area is looking for a cat, let me know. We have five, and two weeks to find homes for them.

The live trap worked to catch the last cat. Now we just have to find homes for all of them...which is frustrating, because the one that I thought was going to work out to take two of them fell through.
One down, five to go.

Go figure, I actually managed to catch one of the cats, and it wasn't with the live trap. When we got home from helping a friend move we found her sitting on the neighbor's car and she came right to me.

Today I get to try and figure out how to catch the two cats that are still loose outside, as one of them has a potential owner that wants to come and meet them.

You know...I think I would rather just stay on the internet all day than deal with annoying telemarketing calls.

I'm not entirely sure, but I'm begining to think that whoever told me fleas are attracted to small dishes with vinegar and lit candles in them was lying.

Hmm..another disadvantage of where we keep our phone has been found...namely that we can't hear it ring to well. Ah well, that's what the answering machine is for anyways.

We've set up our bedroom in the massive room that I'm now going to call the 'Master Bedroom'. Only problem with it? It's really, really dark, since there are trees that shade all the windows, and the room is paneled in dark wood. Lamps are the main source of light.

I hate my family...

I mean, seriously, if they disapprove of my lifestyle so much, then why do they feel the need to come over and lecture me about it? Why can't they just ostracize me like normal families do?

And no, it's not just about my choice in partners. It's that, plus the fact that Kal isn't a Christian, plus that we don't clean 'often enough', plus that they don't believe that I'm really sick (despite the fact that even the government recognizes that I am), plus that I'm a gamer...the list goes on and on, and they feel the need to wait until they know Kal will be at work and I'll be home alone so that they can come over and tell me how much they disapprove.

Well, my record for posting without a break has been irrevocably shattered, but I'm finally back from the horrors of no internet.
True, we have dial-up now, and that means I can only get on for a little bit each day, but at least I'm finally back.

Still alive...still no internet at home. We've almost got the fleas under control, but we had to shave our Maine Coon to do it...

I'm not dead, just sans internet. I'll try to post when I can.

My chest and stomach are both killing me today.

Grr..yet another sunny day, when we could be getting the lawn mowed...and we have no access to a mower, because we're having to stand in line (effectively) to get use of one.
